We’re delighted to announce a new addition to our roster of bands.
KNIFE CRIME are a new Birmingham-based three piece of familiar faces – Geordie, Sam and John – who have been present on the stages of Brum in various guises for many years now.
They play rapid and rabid blackened post hardcore warped through a lens of perfect pop to create punishing earworms for fans of Big Black, Immortal, Propaghandi, Baptists, Heresy, Pissed Jeans, Graham Coxon and so much more.
If your ears had asses they’d be spanked silly after KNIFE CRIME deliver the most infectious heaviness since QOTSA fired up the first strains of their Rated R opus, or Teen Spirit stank out the charts. Make no mistake, though; this is super heavyweight tuneage; cliché defying, utterly satisfying and potentially era defining.
The debut double A side single – ‘Shoulda Bloody Known / Remove The Heart’ – is released by DIE DAS DER on 2nd August, on download. A limited edition cassette version will be available to buy from our stall at Supersonic Festival.
KNIFE CRIME will also be playing at the Yr Welcome Fifth Birthday all-dayer in September.
